Our Beach Surveys
When events are taking place on beaches there may be a requirement from the environmental agency to prepare both pre-survey and post survey plans. Taking levels of the beach at each stage allows the environmental agency to see how the event has affected the levels on the beach.

How does our beach survey work?
Using our GPS mapping equipment, we walk the area where the event is scheduled to take place, recording levels every 5-10m. We then prepare a plan that shows the above sea level of each point on the ground. Once the event has finished, we go back to site and record the levels again in the exact same place.
A post survey plan is then produced and from this it is easy to understand the changes in levels. We do annual surveys on beaches in Lincolnshire including Skegness and Mablethorpe.
